Adam Turley CHEF

Head Chef and Proprietor, The Old Bank Restaurant in Westerham

Adam’s passion for food began growing up in his parents’ pubs around the Sevenoaks area. After attending Westminster College in London, he took a position at the Wentworth Golf Club. He spent three years there working under Mark Flannagan (former Executive Chef at Buckingham Palace for Her Majesty the Queen) He then moved to The Waterside Inn, Bray, a 3 Michelin Star restaurant. Where he was mentored by the worldwide acclaimed chefs Michel Roux Senior and his son Alain.

He then spent 10 years as Head Chef at Bluebells Restaurant in Sunningdale, claiming numerous accolades and awards.

In November 2018, Adam and his wife Emma opened The Old Bank in Westerham. Since opening 5 years ago, the restaurant has been awarded a place in the Michelin guide, has gained 2 AA rosettes and is the Muddy Stiletto awards best restaurant in Kent. Adam was also named Kent Life Magazine’s 2020 Chef of the Year.
