Passion fruit - Native to South America, this tropical vine fruit is dark purple and wrinkled when ripe, but smooth and green when unripe. Inside the leathery, inedible skin lies a scented yellow flesh, tart and gelatinous encasing edible black seeds. Use the flesh to decorate desserts or to flavour drinks and ices.
