Brussel Sprouts

These are a marmite vegetable, they are either loved or hated! They look like miniature cabbages, and grow around a thick stem. Brussel sprouts have a sweet slightly nutty flavour, with a cabbage nuance. Sprouts are in season throughout the Autumn and Winter, and at their best during cold weather.
