Seville Oranges are available only for a short season in January and February, this bitter oranges grown in Spain, with most of the crop being exported to the UK for making marmalade.
Seville oranges are favoured not only for their bitter taste and aromatic flavour. They are unsuitable for eating raw and better for making jams and jellies.
